The right notification setup means your phone tells you when sport is about to start — so you never open the app twenty minutes late again.
Missing kick-off is one of the most frustrating experiences for a sports fan. A match you intended to watch from the start becomes a catch-up experience, and key early moments — opening goals, red cards, controversial decisions — are already part of the result rather than part of the live drama. Sportzfy's notification system is designed to prevent this by alerting you before a match starts, giving you time to get settled before the whistle blows.
The TV mode feature is particularly valuable for fans who watch at home on a larger screen. By casting or connecting Sportzfy to a television — through screen mirroring, HDMI adapter, or native Android TV support — the app transforms from a mobile streaming tool into a full sports channel hub. The navigation is optimised for remote control use in TV mode, with larger touch targets and simplified menus that work well from the couch.
ALERT SETUPNavigate to the Settings menu within the app and find the Notifications or Alerts section. This is where you configure which sports , leagues, and teams trigger reminders.
Choose the specific sports and competitions you want alerts for. You can set alerts for entire leagues (notify me before every Premier League match) or for specific teams (only alert me for Arsenal fixtures).
Most alert systems offer 15, 30, or 60 minutes before kick-off. Choose based on your typical preparation time — 30 minutes is usually enough to finish what you're doing and set up your viewing position comfortably.
Ensure that Android system notifications are enabled for Sportzfy in your phone's Settings > Apps > Sportzfy > Notifications. App-level alerts don't work if system notifications are blocked.
